Cyclones Battle to a Draw!
The Sherwood Cyclones battled to a thrilling 2-2 draw on Saturday with the Crestwood Cougars. Prolific Cyclones scorer Stephen Jones opened the scoring with a nice header from Midfieldrer Cam Wilson in the 33rd minute after Cougars striker Ali Mallen drilled the upright with a long curving kick from the middle. The match remained one nothing until the 65th minute with Cougars striker Milan Juevo making a nice stab at the ball from a corner kick by Lenny Dresler. The Cougars continued to press hard and were finally rewarde with a nice tic tac toe play from Dresler to Juevo and finally Tom Smithson for an easy tap in at 78 minutes.
